To make your experience more convenient, we provide a shuttle bus service from Linz to the conference venue in Hagenberg on all conference days, as well as for social events.

Following PPSN’s unique tradition, all accepted papers will be presented during the poster sessions and will be included in the proceedings. For this purpose, please prepare a poster in DIN A0 portrait format, once your submitted full paper has been accepted.

In the light of increasing registration numbers, we’d like to draw your attention to a dedicated room contingent and a special room rate at the Best Western Parkhotel Hagenberg ****s that we’ve organized for PPSN 2024.

The organization team of the workshop “30 Years of EDAs” has set up a dedicated website for their contribution to this year’s PPSN. We are very pleased to announce Richard Kueng as our third keynoter for this year’s edition of PPSN! He is a full professor at Johannes Kepler University Linz, recipient of the FWF START Award, and an ERC Starting Grant, as well as elected member of the young wing of the Austrian Academy of Sciences since 2024.

The deadline for full paper submissions has been extended from April 5 to April 18, 2024 (deadline interpretation = end of the day, anywhere on earth). We’re looking forward to receive your manuscripts and host you in Hagenberg!

We are very pleased to announce Bernardino Romera-Paredes (Google DeepMind) as our second keynoter for this year’s edition of PPSN! He is a former core team member of AlphaFold2 and AlphaTensor and now research scientist at Google DeepMind in London.

On the second evening of the main conference – Tuesday, September 17, 2024 – the conference dinner will take place at the restaurant of our local brewery “Freistädter Bier”.

On Monday, September 16, 2024 – i.e., the first evening of the main conference – a welcome reception will take place at the Ars Electronica Center (AEC) Linz, where you can enjoy an immersive mixed reality show followed by a flying dinner at the rooftop restaurant.
